Rather than re-iterate what was already said so well, we think you should head over to LA Times' site and give a read to their article on the newly confirmed merger between two concert heavyweights.
As fans of indie music, it was nice to not get the exorbitant Ticketmaster fees (or the 'bend over' fees, as we like to call them) on the smaller shows we were able to get at Ticket Now. While it might not directly effect most of the shows we recommend here, the bigger name shows you head out to will almost definitely get much more expensive thanks to all the aspects of touring the newly formed Live Nation Entertainment handles.
